Acupuncture uses very thin, sterile, one-time use, disposable needles to stimulate specific points on the body to correct imbalances. Insertion of the needles goes unnoticed by some, while others may feel a heavy sensation, or a pleasant dull ache. These sensations are the needles connecting with your energy, known as Qi. Needles remain in the body anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes depending on what you need
